Aspen Production Execution Manager provides work order management, procedures management, and documentation management for life sciences, specialty chemicals, consumer packaged goods, and medical device industries to accommodate the requirements of good manufacturing practices for batch manufacturing. The system delivers complete traceability, an unalterable history, and automatic generation of audit trails and reports. Aspen Production Execution Manager is a core element of AspenTech’s aspenONE® Production Management and Execution applications.

  • Orchestrates manufacturing workflow and assembles appropriate manufacturing execution instructions or recipes from the time an order is received until the batch is released
  • Configures the master recipes for a particular product, line, or manufacturing site
  • Assigns recipes to production orders as they are received
  • Executes the order according to the recipe and operating instructions in collaboration with operators and the automation system
  • Generates a batch record in conjunction with the rest of products
  • Manages workflow to handle process deviations from master recipes
  • Provides total traceability
  • Manages the creation, execution, and deviations associated with cleaning procedures
  • Integrates with Aspen Audit and Compliance Manager™ for 21CFR11 compliance including signoffs and incorporation of deviations into the electronic batch record
