A fully integrated web-based solution for managing real-time and historical process data on both intranet and internet environments
Aspen IP.21 Process Browser is a web-based solution for providing users across the enterprise the ability to access and analyze real-time and historical plant data from an Aspen InfoPlus.21® database. It includes pre-defined web pages, web authoring components, and a Java graphics publishing engine for integrating process information on standard and custom web pages for analysis and reporting. Aspen IP.21 Process Browser is a core element of AspenTech’s aspenONE® Production Management and Execution applications.

- Enables quick development of web content for plant graphics, trends, grids and dashboards from a modern user interface
- Provides a rich set of out-of-the-box features such as trends and scatter plots, tag detail, calculation summaries and details, alarms, and IO Status summaries
- Provides flexible trend objects for process analysis
- Supports real-time and event-driven data
- Aggregates data from Aspen InfoPlus.21, relational database systems including Oracle, Microsoft® SQLserver, and Microsoft Access, other historians, OPC-DA servers, and Aspen Calc™ server
- Provides Process Graphic Studio and development kit for content developers; Java graphics is used to generate rich event-driven process graphics
- Utilizes either HTTP or HTTPS protocols for all communications, allowing data to pass securely through firewalls
- Automatically downloads client-side components to remote client machines
- Includes pre-configured web server including: single logon, home page, tag search, trend plot pages, summary pages, detailed display pages, and Aspen Calc Management
- Includes pre-configured navigation system for quick deployment
- Enables roles to be defined to grant or prohibit access to individual pages
- Integrates with Aspen Framework for enterprise deployment and security model
